Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and self-motivated Mobile Phlebotomist who excels both independently and as a part of a team, with a commitment to meeting departmental objectives and surpassing performance benchmarks. This role involves traveling to client locations for sample collection, ensuring timely specimen delivery to nearby labs, organizing daily travel plans for patient engagement, and potentially reaching out to patients for scheduling purposes.

Compensation
Starting salary is anticipated to be in the range of $24 to $27 per hour, subject to variation based on location, skills, experience, and other factors. Mileage for travel is reimbursed, and the total compensation package may include additional benefits. This is a full-time role, expecting 40 hours of work per week
Responsibilities
- Efficient and detail-oriented, the candidate will use their personal vehicle to visit sites for specimen collection from patients, ensuring safe transport to local laboratories for analysis
- Adhere to established phlebotomy guidelines for blood sample acquisition, upholding all safety protocols and handling specimens with care.
- Ensure accurate patient identification before sample collection, label specimens correctly, and manage requisition forms with complete patient and billing information before transport
- Uphold HIPAA regulations.
- Master demos of our software
- Schedule and plan draw times to optimize efficiency and meet lab requirements. This may include contacting patients to arrange home visits, conducting necessary follow-ups, and confirming appointments
- Oversee equipment maintenance, promptly report any malfunctions, manage lab supply levels, and communicate needs to the supervisor
- Demonstrate strong communication abilities.
- Keep meticulous records, including spreadsheets, timesheets, and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven expertise in specimen collection and phlebotomy.
- 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience required.
- Proficiency in Spanish, Armenian, or Russian is advantageous.
- Active Phlebotomy Technician License required.
- Valid work permit for Belgium
- Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, active auto insurance, and vehicle registration needed.
- Openness to travel extensively, 100% travel expectation.
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in line with HIPAA standards.
- Skilled in various phlebotomy techniques and patient care.
- Capable of working autonomously.
Work Schedule
- Daytime shifts from Monday to Friday.
- Based in the Greater Los Angeles area.
